ABOUT THE EDITORS

Professor B.L. Sharma was born on March 23, 1969, in Dholpur, Rajasthan. He completed his B.Com. in 1988 and earned an M.Com. from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, in 1991. In the same year, he qualified the UGC-NET. He received his M.Phil. in 1992 and was awarded a Ph.D. in Commerce by the University of Rajasthan in 2001.Professor Sharma has successfully guided five research scholars to the completion of their Ph.D. degrees and co-supervised two others. He has also supervised four M.Com. dissertations. A life member of the Indian Commerce Association and the Indian Accounting Association, he has actively participated in 48 national and 9 international seminars. His academic contributions include 45 published research articles and 12 authored books with ISBNs, covering diverse areas of commerce and management.He began his government service on August 9, 1993, after being selected by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission for the State Allied Accounts Services. Subsequently, in November 1996, he was appointed as Lecturer in Commerce at Government Post Graduate College, Uttarkashi, through the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.Throughout his career, Professor Sharma has served in various capacities including Lecturer, Associate Professor, Officiating Principal, and Professor in Government Degree Colleges. He is currently serving as Assistant Director of Higher Education at the Directorate of Higher Education, Uttar Pradesh, in Prayagraj. His dedication to teaching, research, and academic administration reflects a deep and enduring commitment to higher education.

Dr. Pankaj Singh, born on August 4, 1982, in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, is an erudite scholar and a dedicated academician in the discipline of Economics. He completed his B.A. with Economics, Medieval History, and Hindi in 2002, and earned an M.A. in Economics from the prestigious University of Allahabad in 2004. Demonstrating academic excellence early on, he qualified the UPSLET in the same year and cleared the UGC-NET examination three times. He was awarded the degree of D.Phil. in Economics by the University of Allahabad in 2013. Dr. Singh is a life member of several eminent academic bodies, including the Uttar Pradesh-Uttarakhand Economic Association, the Uttar Pradesh Academic Society, and GESA, Prayagraj. He has actively contributed to over 50 national and 14 international seminars and has published 25 scholarly articles in reputed journals. Additionally, he has co-edited four ISBN-registered books on Economics and Women Empowerment. He entered government service on December 19, 2006, through the Directorate of Higher Education, Uttar Pradesh. Appointed as Lecturer in Economics through the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, he secured the first rank in his batch. He also secured third rank in the selection for Assistant Statistical Officer in 2011. Currently, he serves with distinction as Associate Professor and Statistical Research Officer, exemplifying unwavering dedication to pedagogy, research, and academic excellence.
