ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Dr. Bibhas Chand, M.A., M.Phil., Ph. D., is Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of English at Raja Narendra Lal Khan Women's College (affiliated to Vidyasagar University), Midnapore Town, West Bengal. Other than four books of literary criticism, his most recent work is Renaissance, Translation and Poetry: Essays in Criticism (2021). He has discovered a forgotten century-old book “Ramakrishna Charitamrita by Bhuban Chandra Mukhopadhyay” and edited it with a long critical introduction in 2008. He has written several research papers published in Atlantic Critical Review, Atlantic Literary Review, Labyrinth: An International Referred Journal of Postmodern Studies, and Anudhyan: An International Journal of Social Sciences to his credit.
