Dr. Shaleen Kumar Singh is an academic, poet, critic, reviewer, and translator, currently serving as the Head of the English Department at Swami Shukdevanand Postgraduate College, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. With a prolific career in literature and academia, Dr. Singh has made significant contributions to the fields of poetry, literary criticism, and translation.

He has edited over two dozen books on poetry, criticism, and literature, and his scholarly articles have been published in renowned journals across the globe. His poetry collection, Proprietary Pains, was published by Poets Printery, South Africa, showcasing his creative prowess. Additionally, his edited work, From Home to House on Kashmiri Pundits, was published by Harper Collins, India, reflecting his deep engagement with socio-cultural themes. Dr. Singh's works have also been featured multiple times by Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi, further cementing his reputation as a distinguished literary figure.

Beyond his academic and literary pursuits, Dr. Singh is the founder and editor of the online journal creativesaplings.com, a platform dedicated to nurturing new voices in literature and the arts. He is also known for his incisive cartoons, which offer poignant commentary on contemporary issues.
