ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Dr. Shaleen Kumar Singh is a distinguished academic, poet, critic, reviewer, and translator, presently serving as the Head of the English Department at Swami Shukdevanand College, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. Dr. Singh has made substantial contributions to the fields of poetry, literary criticism, and translation, establishing himself as a prominent figure in contemporary Indian English literature.
He has edited over two dozen books on poetry, criticism, and literary studies, and his scholarly articles have been widely published in renowned national and international journals. His acclaimed poetry collection, Proprietary Pains (Poets Printery, South Africa), showcases his creative depth, while his edited volume From Home to House: Writings on Kashmiri Pandits in Exile (HarperCollins India) reflects his profound engagement with socio-cultural and diasporic themes.
Beyond academia, Dr. Singh is the founder and editor of Creative Saplings (creativesaplings.com), an international peer-reviewed journal committed to nurturing emerging writers and artists. He is also noted for his incisive cartoons, offering sharp, thought-provoking commentary on contemporary social and political issues.

Dr. Seema Gautam is a distinguished scholar in the discipline of History, with a particular focus on Medieval Indian Art and Culture. She earned her postgraduate degree in History from Sahu Ramswaroop Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Bareilly, and was awarded a Doctorate in 2010 by Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University, Bareilly.
Dr. Gautam is the author of three significant academic works—History, Cultural History of Medieval India, and Religious and Historical Sites of Shahjahanpur—which underscore her profound engagement with India's cultural and historical legacy. Her scholarly output includes more than 25 research papers published in esteemed national and international journals. She has also actively contributed to over 22 national and international seminars, conferences, and workshops, presenting research on a wide array of topics related to Indian history and culture.
Currently, Dr. Gautam holds the position of Associate Professor in the Department of History at Sahu Ramswaroop Mahila Mahavidyalaya, Bareilly. She also serves as the Associate Editor of Janak: A Journal of Humanities. Her academic interests encompass Medieval Indian History, Archaeology, Environmental Studies, Society, and the Preservation of Cultural Heritage.
