ABOUT THE BOOK

Climate Fiction: Ecological Dimensions offers an introspective gaze into intersections of literature, film and ecology to recognise how fiction mediates the Anthropocene. Employing postcolonial and intersectional lenses, this volume will interrogate the historical legacies of colonialism that have intensified ecological degradation. The contributors in this volume not only observe the Anthropocene as a narrative, but also assess its literary conventions to highlight its inherently fictional framework that shape its representation in literature. This volume will engage with the current developments in this field and will try to diversify various other issues.
