ABOUT THE EDITORS

Dr. Kalpna Rajput is an Associate Professor at SDMK College, Nigohi, Shahjahanpur, with over a decade of experience in teaching and research in English literature. Her academic focus includes the mythological themes and Hindu worldview in Toru Dutt's poetry. She has published extensively in esteemed journals and edited volumes, and has authored books on literary topics. Dr. Rajput is also a poet, with work featured in national and international journals, and has translated poems by renowned global poets into Hindi. As an editor, she oversees publications on literary criticism, poetry, and cultural studies. In addition to her academic work, Dr. Rajput is passionate about reading, poetry, and painting, and maintains blogs on literature and cookery. She is dedicated to advancing scholarly dialogue through her editorial role with the online journal Integral Research (ISSN: 3048-5991).

Dr. Uma is an accomplished academician specializing in post-independence Indian poetry in English, with a particular focus on Nissim Ezekiel and Kamala Das. Her research delves into the emotional depth, social issues, and existential themes in modern Indian poetry. Currently an Assistant Professor of English at Dyal Singh College (M), University of Delhi, Dr. Uma has over a decade of teaching experience. She has actively contributed to national and international seminars and conferences, presenting papers that enhance the discourse on Indian literature in English. Dr. Uma has published widely in reputed journals and authored a book, establishing herself as a respected scholar. Her academic career is characterized by professionalism, competence, and a commitment to advancing English literature. Her editorial work in this volume reflects her passion for literature and scholarly dialogue, guiding the curation of thought-provoking essays that highlight literature's relevance in contemporary society.
