ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Dr. Mohd Shoeb holds a Ph.D. from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra, with a specialization in Fisheries Science (M.Sc.). He is an accomplished researcher with over 22 publications in reputed national and international journals. Dr. Shoeb has also contributed 7 chapters to various academic books and served as an editor for an edited volume. His active participation in 7 national and international conferences and seminars reflects his dedication to advancing knowledge in his field.
Dr. Kaish Miyan earned his Ph.D. in Zoology from Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Aligarh, in 2015. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Government Raza P.G. College, Rampur, he specializes in fisheries biology, aquaculture, and fish stock assessment, with a particular focus on the Ganges River system.His research extensively employs otolith microchemistry and morphometric analyses to explore fish population structures. Dr. Miyan has contributed over 25 publications to the field, reflecting his dedication to advancing aquatic science and sustainable fisheries management.
Dr. Shahista Khan received her M.Phil. in Zoology in 2009 and earned her Ph.D. in 2014 from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. With over fifteen years of research experience, her work focuses on fish biology, fisheries, and conservation. She has authored twenty research articles published in national and international journals and has presented her findings at thirteen conferences, workshops, and seminars. In addition to her research contributions, Dr. Khan has five years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels in Zoology
Dr. Ramesh Chandra, Head, Zoology Department, Swami Sukhdevanand College, Shahjahanpur, is a well-known scholar with teaching experience of more than 15 years. He has written 33 research articles and 3 books, and has contributed papers at national and international conferences. A winner of the Young Scientist Award and Environmentalist Award, he is also a patent holder for his creative research work. Dr. Chandra holds a Ph.D., F.S.L.Sc., and F.I.A.E.S., which speaks volumes about his background in zoology and environmental science. His commitment to research, education, and environmental activism continues to inspire the academic world.
