Motherhood: Social and Cultural Aspects

Women have been bestowed with the 'gift of motherhood,' is it a boon or a bane, does motherhood elevate and empower her or does it subjugate and enslave her? For generations women have faced suppression and subjugation in the hands of patriarchal forces, this book explores the oppression of women from the perspective of motherhood with special focus on its social and cultural aspect.
