Dr. Shaleen Kumar Singh is a renowned academic and literary scholar, presently serving as the Head of the Department of English at Swami Shukdevanand Postgraduate College, Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. With a distinguished career as a poet, critic, reviewer, translator, and editor, Dr. Singh has made significant contributions to the field of literature. He has edited over twenty volumes encompassing poetry, criticism, and literary studies, and his research articles have been featured in esteemed international journals. His poetic work, Proprietary Pains, has been published by Poets Printery in South Africa, while his editorial endeavor, From Home to House: Writings on Kashmiri Pandits, has been released by Harper Collins, India. In addition to his literary contributions, Dr. Singh engages in social critique through his artwork as a cartoonist, offering reflections on contemporary issues.
